Day 1 : Ashgabat
Arrival at Ashgabat International Airport. Transfer to the hotel.
Early check-in is possible from 12:00 upon prior request.
Check-in at the hotel. Rest and relaxation. Today we will have a city tour of Ashgabat.
In 2013, the Guinness Book of Records named Ashgabat the “City of White Marble.”
City attractions: Neutrality Arch; Independence Monument, built in the shape of a traditional Turkmen house – “oyi” (diameter – 60 m) – with a 91-meter-high column topped with a spire featuring stars and a crescent, which are among the symbols of Turkmenistan. Around the monument are sculptures of famous Turkmen historical figures.
20:00–21:00 – Dinner.
Return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2 : Ashgabat – Darvaza
07:30–08:30 – Breakfast at the hotel.
09:00–11:30 – Visit to Gulistan Bazaar (also known as the Russian Bazaar). Free time. Here you will have the opportunity to buy souvenirs.
12:30–13:30 – Lunch.
14:00–18:30 – Trip to northern Turkmenistan, directly to the Darvaza Gas Crater. “Gara Kum Yalkymy” translates from Turkmen as The Spark of the Karakum Desert” (250 km, 4–4.5 hours). This is one of the most popular international tourist destinations. The area is rich in natural gas and has been burning for over 50 years. On the way, there will be a stop at Erbent village – a bright and colorful example of the life of former Turkmen nomads.
Arrival in Darvaza.
Visit the gas crater – a huge deep pit with flames rising from it. The fire can be seen from many kilometers away. In the evening, enjoy the breathtaking view of the gas crater, especially at sunset.
20:00–21:00 – Dinner with barbecue in a traditional Turkmen yurt. Overnight stay in yurts near the gas crater. Don’t forget to wake up early to admire the stunning sunrise.

Day 3 : Darvaza Gas Crater – Ashgabat
06:00–07:00 – Breakfast at the Darvaza Gas Crater camp.
07:00–11:30 – Transfer to Ashgabat (4–4.5 hours).
12:00–12:30 – Check-in at the hotel. Rest.
13:00–14:00 – Lunch break.
14:30–18:30 – Continuation of the Ashgabat city tour: Wedding Palace, Ferris Wheel, Constitution Tower, Memorial Complex. After lunch, visit the Memorial Complex dedicated to the Great Patriotic War (1941–1945) and the Ashgabat Earthquake of 1948. One of the most destructive earthquakes of the last century – the Ashgabat Earthquake of 1948 – occurred at 2:17 a.m. on October 6, 1948. The earthquake lasted only 10 seconds but caused enormous damage to Ashgabat and nearby villages, where almost all brick houses collapsed, concrete structures were seriously damaged, and freight trains were derailed. As a result, more than two-thirds of the city’s population perished (the total number of victims was around 110,000).
19:00–20:00 – Dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 : Ashgabat – Old Nisa – Ashgabat
07:00–08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
08:30–10:00 – Visit the National Museum of Turkmenistan – the largest museum complex in the country, featuring an impressive
collection of archaeological finds, ethnography, and natural history. The museum is located in the south of the capital along Archabil Highway. The museum building was opened in 1998.
Excursion to Old Nisa – the capital of the Parthian Empire, an extensive land of an ancient civilization that stretched from the Indus to the Euphrates. It is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Upon return, lunch will be served.
Visit to Berkarya Shopping Center. The mall offers a wide range of shopping options. In addition, you can purchase various souvenirs reflecting local culture and traditions.
19:30 – Check-in at the hotel.
20:00–21:30 – Dinner. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 5
Ashgabat – Mary – Ancient Merv
07:00–08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
08:30–12:00 – Transfer to the city of Mary (3–4 hours).
Along the way, stops at:
• Annau – ruins of the 15th-century Seyit Jamal adDin Mosque.
• Abiverd (or Abi-verd) – an ancient Sassanid city located in present-day Turkmenistan.
12:30–13:30 – Lunch at a local restaurant in Mary.
14:00–16:00 – Upon arrival in Mary, visit the Historical Museum.
19:00 – Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
20:00–21:00 – Dinner. Free time.

Day 6 : Mary – Ashgabat
07:00–08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
08:30–14:00 – Transfer to Bayramali (30 km) – Excursion to the renowned ancient city of Merv (UNESCO World
Heritage Site). One of the largest archaeological monuments in Central Asia, Merv played a crucial role in the development of the Great Silk Road for over 2,000 years. Within the 1,200-hectare archaeological park, you can explore all parts of the “wandering city.” Highlights include the magnificent 12th-century mausoleums of Sultan Sanjar and Muhammad ibn Zayd, showcasing exquisite brickwork and Seljuk-period architectural decoration.
After visiting the historical sites, explore Turkmenistan’s unique tourist base – the “Ancient Turkmen Hearth.” Here you can
immerse yourself in Turkmen culture, feed the famous AkhalTeke horses, and ride a camel. Enjoy traditional Turkmen cuisine in a yurt.
14:30–18:30 – Return to Ashgabat. Along the way, learn about the flora and fauna of the Karakum Desert.
20:00–21:00 – Dinner at a local restaurant in Ashgabat.
21:30 – Check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 7 : Ashgabat
07:00–08:00 – Breakfast at the hotel.
08:30–12:00 – Excursion program for the day: Visit the National Museum of Turkmen Carpet – Turkmen carpets have been famous since ancient times and continue to amaze both enthusiasts and professionals with their beauty and harmony.
Visit Ertugrul Gazi Mosque (or Aartogrul Gazi Mosque) – one of the largest mosques in Ashgabat and Turkmenistan, built in 1996.
12:30–13:30 – Lunch.
After lunch, transfer to Ashgabat International Airport according to your flight schedule.
End of the tour.
