Overview & itinerary
Azerbaijan’s top provincial holiday center, Gabala is a string of flashy new hotels and a burgeoning ski resort spread up into the foothills of some glorious forested mountains. On the way to Gabala, we will visit Shamakhi – the first capital city of Azerbaijan. The first mosque of all Caucasus and Azerbaijan, the Juma Mosque is located in Shamakhi.
